Our Review
Bill Dellecker is a 40+ year industry veteran that leaves you with easily digestible leadership concepts to frame your leadership skills around. Leading a company with "People First" as your first principle is perhaps the only right way of going about business. Afterall, who is going to want to follow someone who doesn't put their people first?
On a personal note, Bill's third guiding pillar, "Details Always", particularly sticks with me as integral to leading a company. Sharing this belief with him always makes me think back to the first time Bill came to visit my father's company, JML. It was during that visit that we talked about how someone willing to overlook a small weed in a landscape bed or garden would be willing to overlook a much larger weed as well. This is a beyond critical metaphor for us landscapers to emphasize that the details ALWAYS matter.
Bill's Leadership Pillars, along with his Essential Skills, Dynamic Actions, and other insights make Leadership Worthy a more than worthy read for leaders everywhere.
